Family Psychological Center, P.A. was established in 2000 to provide effective, caring, and easily accessible behavioral health services to individuals and families of Harrison, Arkansas, and the surrounding areas of northern Arkansas and south-central Missouri.
We offer a wide range of effective, evidence-based services in a comfortable private practice setting. Our facilities and mindset are personable, warm, and family friendly. Children and parents often comment on how comfortable our facilities and staff make them feel, including our superhero-themed patient bathroom, selection of children's books and toys, and comfortable seating.
Our goal is to help our clients grow from struggles, heal from pain, and move forward to achieve the life they want to live. If you would like to set up an appointment to see one of our helping professionals, please call us at (870) 743-6225 to learn how to get started.
We believe providing uninterrupted connections and services to our clients is vitally important. So, we will continue to schedule and see existing and new clients during regularly scheduled business hours. As healthcare providers, your health and safety are vitally important to us. So, we are dedicated to providing a safe office environment. We are taking a number of proactive measures, including employing frequent and robust cleaning and sanitizing procedures of all contact surfaces in our facility several times each day. We will also provide access to alcohol-based hand sanitizer. Additionally, you will have the option to avoid any dwell time in our waiting room. If your appointment is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., simply enter our building at exactly 10:00 a.m. and you will go straight back to your therapist's office. If you have any questions, please contact us at (870) 743-6225. We look forward to continuing to provide help and support to our clients and their families.

Children and adolescents with depression, anxiety, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, trauma, learning disorders, and disruptive behavior conditions often do not know how to effectively deal with life's challenges. They may act out angrily, isolate, falter academically, or engage in high-risk behaviors--creating additional distress
Children and adolescents with depression, anxiety, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, trauma, learning disorders, and disruptive behavior conditions often do not know how to effectively deal with life's challenges. They may act out angrily, isolate, falter academically, or engage in high-risk behaviors--creating additional distress for them as well as their parents and families. While helping your child with his or her difficulties, we also encourage regular parental involvement in treatment, support families and parents by helping them understand their child or adolescent, and implement effective strategies to provide emotional support and manage challenging behaviors.
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through accurate assessment and psychotherapy, we are able to help you or your child or adolescent capture the motivation, perspective, and momentum that can propel you to a happier, more successful life

Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
Relationship counseling is often beneficial for couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship.
