Dr. CHARLES NICHOLS - CLINICAL PSYCHOlogist

 Dr. Nichols founded Family Psychological Center in 2000 and has dedicated his career to providing comprehensive psychological assessment and clinical services for children, adolescents, and adults. He earned his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Forest Institute of Professional Psychology in 1999 after completing a Master of Arts in Counseling at Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in 1995.

Dr. Nichols specializes in the evaluation and treatment of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), learning disorders, anxiety conditions, and mood disorders. His professional interests include comprehensive psychological assessment, diagnostic clarification, and educational and clinical consultation. He is committed to providing evidence-based evaluations that equip individuals, families, schools, and healthcare providers with the information needed to make informed decisions regarding diagnosis, treatment, and educational planning.

Outside of his professional practice, Dr. Nichols enjoys spending time with his family, exploring America's national parks with his wife, fishing, hunting, and woodworking.

As the Office Manager at Family Psychological Center, I manage the daily operations and patient communications that keep the office running smoothly. Working alongside Dr. Nichols for the past five years, my goal is to ensure that everyone who reaches out is welcomed into a supportive, efficient environment.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (Magna Cum Laude) from Arkansas State University and am currently pursuing my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of West Alabama. This background allows me to support Dr. Nichols’ practice and the clients he serves with exceptional insight.

As a resident of the Harrison area, I enjoy kayaking, exploring local trails, and spending time with my family.
